The OTT'ATI

ottati

Breed description:

Probably, the longest of all the ES: averaging 35 cm in length. This breed has a near round head, short and strong beak, coarse and thick wattle, large burgundy eyes with a thin silver line circling the pupil, strong and short feet and carrying its wings above its tail.

The Ott'ati family consists of 3 sub-families. This distinction is solely based on color.

  1. The El-Mahallawy is a black bird with a black head and a silver white neck.
  2. The Eshr Samak is a dark andalusian bird covered with "fish scales" over the entire body. There are two different shades of eshr samak, the light and the dark eshr samak.
  3. The El Sabuni is of a soapy silver-like color with a very shiny silver white neck.
